Life is secular mundane
From God severance

I see Burning bush
Conflagration of my desires
Embrace Holy hush

Profound is my awe
God’s footsteps in my garden
Reverent thoughts seesaw

Explosion of light
Shafts through the fall-colored leaves
Dark thoughts take their flight

Renewed endeavor
To sense God’s presence anew
With Him forever
